Today is the day our exhibition opening at 19:00 at the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin, Dorotheenstr 12.

We’re one day from the opening now – and things are starting to get in shape. Unfortunately we couldn’t try out the large projector of the CHB yet – but we’ll see…

In the past two days, we’ve placed our cameras at the Humboldt University, on top of the Maxim Gorki Theater, in the attic of the Magnus house and on the stairs at the neighboring Hufeland house. These are going to provide the live images for our augmented reality views.

It’s interesting, people are very concerned about surveillance here in Germany.

Today we managed to put our sculpture together, which is the result of a generative process – frozen in time (and metal). Many thanks to the dedicated team – working out in the cold!

Yesteday we managed to place our weather station and wireless antennas on the roof. The weather station measures wind direction & speed, temperature and humidity. The wireless antennas will provide the dedicated wireless link to our cameras, to be used in the augmented reality visualizations.

Yesterday we managed to place to place all but one of our Zigbee wireless mesh networked sensors on the designated positions. They are chatting with each other ever since happily – with some antisocial ones not joining in though :)

a rooftop visit at the Maxim Gorki Theater

Yesterday we payed a visit to the rooftop of the Maxim Gorki Theater, which is just across the street. The people at the theater are so kind to let one of our wireless cameras to be stationed on their roof for the duration of the exhibition. The live image from the camera will be the basis for one of the augmented reality views.
